Scheduling
Appointments are scheduled based on availability. While we make every effort to arrive on time, weather conditions, emergencies, traffic, and unforeseen circumstances may affect scheduling.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:

- Ensuring work areas are reasonably clear and accessible.
- Disclosing any known chimney, fireplace, or structural issues.
- Obtaining any permits or approvals required by local authorities unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payment
Payment is due according to the terms outlined on your estimate or invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Late payments may be subject to additional fees where permitted by law.
Cancellations
Appointments should be canceled or rescheduled with reasonable advance notice. Repeated cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a service fee.
Warranties
Any warranty provided applies only to the specific services or materials identified in your written invoice or agreement.
Normal wear, lack of maintenance, improper use, acts of nature, structural movement, modifications by others, or issues unrelated to the completed work are not covered.
Chimney Inspections
A chimney inspection represents the visible condition of the chimney system at the time of inspection. Hidden defects, concealed damage, or conditions that cannot reasonably be observed during the inspection may not be identified.
Code Compliance
We perform work in accordance with applicable building codes and industry standards at the time services are provided. Changes to local building codes, utility requirements, or regulations after service completion are beyond our control.
PSE&G Requirements
PSE&G requirements, inspections, and approval processes are established solely by PSE&G. While we perform work intended to satisfy applicable requirements, final approval remains the responsibility of PSE&G.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Olde School Contractors LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of this website or from services provided, except where prohibited by law.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
